Discover the Heart of Mexican Social Gathering!
What is “Mexican Night”?
Each country and region have its own unique ways of enjoyment. In Japan, it might be spending evenings at an izakaya or going to karaoke boxes with friends or colleagues. Similarly, Mexico offers a variety of ways to have fun, and one of these is what I have personally named “Mexican Night” tour.
Originally, I had reservations about using “Mexican” in the name, but since it is a part of Mexican customs, I decided to embrace it. Of course, there are places in rural areas or villages where such activities are not common or where people may not enjoy such gatherings. However, it is a fact that many Mexicans love to have a good time in these social settings, enjoying dances like salsa and cumbia, which are not commonly found in Japan. It’s a part of Mexican culture that is absent in Japan, and for this reason, I proudly include it as a part of the Mexican experience in my tours as a Mexican guide.
How can you enjoy at a Mexican Night?
At a Mexican Night, you can have a delightful experience at a renowned restaurant & bar, where mariachi live performances create a pleasant ambiance while sipping tequila with a hint of tipsiness. If you’re interested, we can then take you to a local dance hall where you can dance salsa to your heart’s content.
When we mention ‘local,’ we mean guiding you to places that locals frequent, rather than the fancier dance halls catering to foreign tourists or the affluent.
“I don’t drink alcohol…”
No worries. You can still enjoy the experience without drinking.
“Dancing makes me feel embarrassed…”
No need to fret. Dancing is optional, and you can have a great time even without dancing. However, giving it a try might surprise you with how much fun you’ll have! If you’re interested, we offer dance classes as part of our tour. Our Mexican instructor and I will teach you the basics in a short one-on-one session, so you can confidently dance at the Mexican Night afterward. Whether you join for two or three hours, the private dance class will prepare you to enjoy the Mexican Night to the fullest.
“Anyone can just go, but enjoying it like the locals do is essential.” That’s why having someone who understands Mexico and its customs is a tremendous advantage.

Perfect for Your Last Day in Mexico
For those travelers with a late-night direct flight back to Japan, we have the ideal plan for your final day in Mexico. Before heading to the airport, we often take our guests to a special place that has turned even the most hesitant visitors into enthusiastic participants.
At first, some guests may express reservations, saying things like, “I don’t drink alcohol, can’t dance, and I don’t enjoy loud places, so maybe I’ll just go for a short while…” However, once they experience the vibrant atmosphere, taste a little tequila, and immerse themselves in the lively music, they end up staying until just an hour and a half before their flight departs. In some cases, they have even rushed to the airport at the last minute! (Laughs)
This place is so enjoyable and authentic that many guests have boldly asserted, “If I didn’t come here, I couldn’t say I truly experienced Mexico!” It embodies the heart of Mexico’s entertainment culture! (Of course, you can have a great time without drinking tequila, so no need to worry.)
Please note that the venue is liveliest on Fridays, followed by Saturdays.
We assure you that this experience will be an unforgettable conclusion to your trip in Mexico, filled with fun, music, and the essence of Mexico’s entertainment culture.
