Share cost-effective private tours and save more!
For those who want to enjoy a Mexico trip alone, have a great time, but are concerned about travel expenses and lack of time… Here, you can find someone to share our cost-effective private tours.
This is a matching space dedicated to individuals considering a solo Mexico trip
Features of our rideshare
1. Split the cost of your Mexico trip with your travel partner.
Example: Local tour, 1 day, $580
Split between 2 people 👉 $290 per person (50% off)
Split between 3 people 👉 $193.33 per person (66% off)
Split between 4 people 👉 $145 per person (75% off)
Click here for “Pricing and Services” >>
2. Maintain a sense of individual travel while on the tour
Unlike regular group tours with fixed destinations, dining places, and pick-up/drop-off locations, you can enjoy a more flexible travel experience.
Example: Same destination and dining places, but different hotels and separate activities at tourist spots.
3. Women can use our service with peace of mind
You can communicate with your travel partner before the trip, getting to know their interests and personality through prior exchanges. I will provide you with the contact information of your travel partner with the consent of all participants. If you have any requests, such as including me in the communication, I will assist in enhancing the peace of mind for all participants.
4. Our tours offer more enriching experiences than budget tours or individual travel
I, Ko Iwasaki, am not a fan of regular tours. The reason I can’t enjoy tours is that “they lack substance, explanations are unclear, and freedom is restricted.” Since it involves mixing with various travelers, it’s inevitable that the content becomes generic.
In our private tour rideshare, professional Mexico tour guides will suggest, explain, and conduct the tour consistently. This allows even someone like me, who is a “tour skeptic,” to enjoy a Mexico trip that meets their satisfaction and provides the freedom comparable to individual travel.

Three Types of Sharing:
All Share
All travel itineraries are shared only with the travel partner. This is the most efficient and cost-effective way to travel comfortably while keeping expenses low.
Advantages
- Significant discounts of 50% for a minimum of 2 people and up to 75% for a maximum of 4 people, allowing you to plan a flexible itinerary from scratch and make scheduling easier.
- No time wasted due to mid-ride pickups or drop-offs.
Disadvantages
- There is a possibility of including places that may not be of personal interest.
Route Example
A and B depart from Mexico City together, explore major cities related to Mexico’s independence in the states of Guanajuato and Michoacan, and return to Mexico City.
Sample Recruitment Text
- “I want to take a 6-night, 7-day trip around Mexico City, Guanajuato, and Oaxaca!”
- “I would like to explore Queretaro, Guanajuato, and Michoacan in about 3 days!”
- “I want to visit archaeological sites in the Yucatan area for 4 nights, 5 days!”
- “I want to travel around the southern region over two weeks, starting and ending in Mexico City!”
- “I enjoy mountaineering and want to climb the three highest mountains in Mexico, taller than Mount Fuji!”
Partial Share (Carpooling or Alternating)
Share a portion or all of an existing travel itinerary. There are two possibilities: either other travelers join your planned route or you join the itinerary of someone else who is seeking travel companions. The difference from the “All Share” option is that since the itinerary is already established, it is suitable when you don’t have enough time to plan. It is not necessary to perfectly align your schedule with the travel partner’s.
Advantages
You can share only the spots that interest you, making it convenient if you don’t have time or effort to spend on trip planning.
Disadvantages
You must arrive at the designated meeting point or location on time. Even if you only use the service for half a day, you will be charged for a full day. There may be adjustments with the travel partner within the limits of the initial itinerary. Since the itinerary is mostly determined, there is a higher chance that your preferences as a carpooler may not be fully accommodated. Deviating from the route to allow mid-ride pickups or drop-offs may result in time loss.
Route Example
C departs from Mexico City and travels through Puebla, Cholula, and Teotihuacan towards Oaxaca. At Oaxaca, D joins the trip. The two travel together, visiting places like Orizaba Mountain, Cordoba, and Olmec ruins. D is dropped off at Villahermosa Airport and returns to Mexico City by plane. C arrives in Palenque, explores the surrounding archaeological sites, and is dropped off at either Tuxtla Airport or Villahermosa Airport, returning to Mexico City by plane.
Sample Recruitment Text
- “I’m planning a 3-day trip from Mexico City to Oaxaca in January next year. I also plan to visit places like Cacaxtla ruins, Puebla, and Cactus Valley. Mid-ride pickups and drop-offs are welcome!”
- “I will be traveling from Mexico City to Palenque, passing through Puebla, Veracruz, and the Olmec region. I love history and nature, so I plan to hike the foothills of Orizaba Mountain and visit historical buildings in Cordoba before seeing the Olmec ruins and heading to Palenque.”
Mix
In this option, you join the existing All Share plan of two people for some sections or plan together from the beginning, sharing only the parts that interest you.
Advantages
The travel cost for the section used by three people is divided into thirds per person (up to four people can join). If you join partway, you can share only the sections that interest you.
Disadvantages
If you join an already established plan, it may be difficult or even impossible to make changes to the itinerary. Since the plan is determined by three or four people, the likelihood of fulfilling each individual’s preferences decreases. Even if you only use the service for half a day, you will be charged for a full day. Deviating from the route to allow mid-ride pickups or drop-offs may result in time loss.
Route Example
A and B depart from Mexico City, passing through Bernale, areas with cacti habitats, and Queretaro City. They pick up D at Guanajuato Airport. The three of them visit Guanajuato, Dolores, San Miguel, Tequila, Morelia City, Patzcuaro, and return to Mexico City. D bids farewell here, and A and B head towards Oaxaca. If another traveler, E, joins, the three of them continue to Oaxaca. E is dropped off after sightseeing in Oaxaca, and A and B visit the Teotihuacan caves and Guacamaya before hiking in the foothills of Orizaba Mountain and returning to Mexico City.
Sample Recruitment Text
- “We are two men who already have an All Share plan from Mexico City to Guanajuato, Queretaro, Tequila, Morelia, and Oaxaca for 7 days next summer. We welcome anyone who wants to join!”
Safe and Fair Sharing Rules
- This is a ride-sharing and matching service for individuals. It does not apply to groups of two or more.
- Decisions are divided equally among the participants, regardless of age, gender, title, social popularity, or status. If you have any preferences, I, Iwasaki, can provide advice on route adjustments.
- Before exchanging contact information, I will act as an intermediary and obtain consent from both parties after a match is made.
- When determining the itinerary, being flexible with your own preferences and schedule increases the likelihood of finding a match. It is advisable to consult before making flight or hotel reservations and taking vacation leave to ensure smooth planning.
- Being indecisive may inconvenience the other party. Please make sure to contact us only after agreeing on the fees, duration, and conditions. Please clarify any unclear points about your potential match or your own preferences during the initial contact. Once the contact begins and you proceed to create a specific itinerary with your partner, for the purpose of expressing your commitment to the other party, a 50% advance payment of the planned tour duration is required. Refunds are not possible after payment, but schedule changes are free of charge. If you have made the payment but the other party does not pay, please continue to search for another partner or adjust your own itinerary. Changes to the schedule due to this circumstance are also free of charge. Please refer to the fees in advance.≫≫≫ [Special Services and Fees]
- As it is a ride-sharing service with unfamiliar individuals, please understand in advance that your preferences, compatibility, etc., may not be fulfilled 100%. If you absolutely want a trip exactly according to your preferences, please use regular private tour services.
- The fee is fully prepaid. Once the full amount is received, it will be considered confirmed, and refunds are not possible. If the trip does not materialize due to the other party’s non-payment, the received payment can be put on hold for up to 2 years, allowing you to search for a new partner or use it when traveling alone.
- Changes or adjustments to routes after payment are generally not allowed, but if there is unanimous agreement within the group, it can be considered.
- Punctuality is important as it inconveniences the other party. Please strictly adhere to the agreed-upon time.
- If repetitive behavior that makes the other party uncomfortable, discriminatory remarks, or actions that disrupt the agreed-upon itinerary are observed during the planning stage or during the tour, you will be asked to leave at that point. In such cases, refunds of the payment made are not possible, so please be aware of this in advance. While we will handle such situations, please note that we cannot take responsibility for disputes among participants before, during, or after the trip.
- In the event that someone’s health deteriorates during the trip, depending on the situation, we will modify the itinerary and take them to the nearest hospital. Alternatively, we can arrange for rest at a hotel or send my staff to assist you, depending on the circumstances. As a possible risk that can happen to anyone, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in case such a situation arises. Additionally, please take sufficient care of your own health during the trip, and let your partner know if you have any pre-existing conditions. If you do not wish to take such risks, please use regular private tour services.
